Proof music gets better when you take Pitbull out of it

I move to make Pitbull-less “Timber” the World Cup anthem. Do I have a second?

USA TODAY Sports

Pitbull is going to perform the World Cup song, but there's one problem.

Songs are better without Pitbull.

Take "Timber," for example. It is the greatest song of the 21st century and a candidate to replace "The Star Spangled Banner" as the United States' national anthem, but despite its brilliance, it can get better. You can take Pitbull out of it.

Take the best part of “Timber,” swap out Pitbull’s part for the vocals on an unreleased Kesha track and, boom, you have gold.

If “Timber” was a candidate to be the new national anthem, this superior version could be the new United Nations anthem and while we wait on the paperwork to push that through, can be the World Cup anthem.
