Diego Costa and Atletico Madrid denied clear penalty

Atletico Madrid should have had a penalty and a great chance to draw level with Real Madrid early in their derby match, but referee Carlos Delgado Ferreiro saw something different. Sergio Ramos appeared to bring down Diego Costa in the box, but nothing was given.

Arda Turan was the Atleti player who took the no-call the worst, and he was booked for his outburst. The hosts continue to trail and need to bounce back quickly from a couple of huge setbacks.
