It was a day for late goals in MLS as teams scored six in the final 10 minutes of the match to either win or tie, three of which came in stoppage time. If you missed any of the day’s action, sucks to be you.
MLS scores: RSL thrashes Toronto in a day full of late drama
There was no lack of drama in MLS on Saturday.

The Impact fell behind 1-0 on a Vincent Nogueira goal and in the 76th minute, Andrew Wenger was shown a red card, which should have ended their hopes of picking up their first point of the season. But Marco Di Vaio, playing in his first match of the season after serving a three-match suspension, changed things with an 80th minute goal to stun the Union and earn the Impact a draw.
D.C. has not won a league match in seven months and when Perry Kitchen scored in the 73rd minute, it looked like they might finally get one, but it wasn't to be. Quincy Amarikwa scored eight minutes from time to ensure the Fire would take a point away from their trip to the nation's capital and keep D.C.'s winless streak alive.
Graham Zusi scored in the 50th minute to kick start a match desperately in need of a jump, and the match took off from there. Vicente Sanchez scored a pair to put the Rapids in front, but Benny Feilhaber tallied a minute after Sanchez put the home side on top, then Dominic Dwyer notched the winner two minute into stoppage time with a great shot to earn Sporting three valuable points on the road.
Vancouver took care of business at home, again. BC Place served the Whitecaps well again and it started in the 14th minute when Jordan Harvey found the net. Kenny Miller added to the Whitecaps' lead in the 58th minute and although Ricardo Clark scored late to get the Dynamo back into the match, it was too little, too late.
Oscar Pareja's magic continued on Saturday as Dallas came away with yet another one, and this time over a very good team in Portland. Blas Perez's goal in first half stoppage time gave the Hoops a lead, but Matt Hedges put the ball in his own net to level the match. It looked like the teams would split points, but Mauro Diaz scored six minutes from time to keep Dallas undefeated and Portland winless on the young season.
Toronto's dream start came to a screeching halt in Salt Lake City, where RSL took it to them at Rio Tinto Stadium. Alvaro Saborio put the home side in front after 11 minutes and Luis Gil added one of his own just before the half-hour mark to double RSL's lead. The match already looked well in hand for RSL at that point, but Saborio scored a second in the 55th minute just to put an exclamation mark on things and wrap up a great win.
When Kenny Cooper scored in the 22nd minute, it looked like the Sounders were well on their way to a strong defense of their home field, but the second half did not go well for Seattle. Djimi Traore was controversially sent off in the 58th minute for a foul in the box and Federico Higuain converted the ensuing penalty kick, then Justin Meram scored four minutes into stoppage time to deliver the Crew three points at CenturyLink Field.
The Revolution finally found some success, although they did leave it to late. Victor Bernardez's comical own goal put the visitors in front, but Chris Wondolowski answered in the 69th minute to bring things level. A draw was not in the cards, though, as Lee Nguyen hit the Earthquakes on a counterattack three minutes into stoppage time to lock up New England's first win of the season.
