Jack Wilshere injury: Arsenal midfielder out six weeks with fractured foot bone
The Gunners midfielder will miss six weeks after suffering a broken foot during England’s international friendly against Denmark.

The 22-year-old midfielder likely picked up the injury in the first half after a hard tackle from Denmark’s Daniel Agger left him down on the pitch for several minutes receiving treatment. Wilshere continued to play before being substituted in the 59th minute.
According to a press release by Arsenal, England doctors found no issues during their scan after the match but further investigation by the Arsenal medical team on Thursday discovered a hairline fracture to the navicular bone in his left foot.
Following initial scans carried out by the FA on Wednesday night, further investigation by Arsenal’s medical team has discovered a crack to a small bone in Jack’s left foot - the navicular, an area of his foot which has not been previously injured.
This is yet another blow for Arsene Wenger as his Arsenal side attempts to remain a factor in the title race. The Gunners are currently third in the table, four points behind the leaders Chelsea. Wilshere missed time earlier in the season with an ankle injury.
