Chelsea won their last league match over Fulham 3-1 and have not lost a league game since December 7th against Stoke City. Than fine run of form has allowed Mourinho to lead his team to the top spot in the league, ahead of schedule according to the Portuguese boss.
Things haven't been bad for Spurs since Tim Sherwood took over but they haven't been great either. Despite their inconsistent results, Tottenham remains alive in the race for fourth place, four points behind Manchester City for the final Champions League spot.
The teams played to a 1-1 draw in their first meeting of the season at White Hart Lane.

Eden Hazard is expected to play despite picking up an ankle injury on international duty, though Jose Mourinho could decide to rest him to be safe. Both Christian Eriksen and Kyle Walker are doubtful for Spurs, though both remain in contention if they can get healthy. Danny Rose remains sidelined with a knee problem.
