Parma vs. Hellas Verona: Preview and TV schedule

Parma will look to extend their unbeaten run at home to Hellas Verona on Sunday in a game which could go some way to determining the eventual Europa League qualifiers.

Dino Panato

Parma and Hellas Verona are currently locked on 40 points apiece, with the former just about occupying sixth place and the final Europa League spot. They meet at Parma's Ennio Tardini on Sunday, where we'll be given more of a clue as to who will end up qualifying for continental football. At the moment the advantage is with the hosts. But since they have games away at AC Milan, Juventus, Lazio and AS Roma soon, that could quickly change.

Still, Parma are unbeaten in their last 14 league games and are earning a reputation as a difficult side to beat. With Andrea Mandorlini's inconsistent Hellas having only won away from the Bentegodi four times all season, it's going to be difficult for them to end the impressive crociati run. However, they'll take heart from their exciting 3-2 victory in the reverse fixture.

Parma head in without any injury or suspension concerns whatsoever, and Roberto Donadoni is likely to stick with his tried and tested 4-3-3. Andrea Mandorlini will mirror Donadoni's shape, though will be without Uruguayan defender Alejandro González.
