Fulham vs. Norwich City: Preview, TV schedule and how to watch online

Saturday’s match between the Cottagers and Canaries will have big effect on the relegation battle.

Ben Hoskins

Neither Norwich or Fulham will be mathematically relegated should they lose Saturday’s match at Craven Cottage. That said, despite the best efforts of everyone involved to play down the implications the match will play in the relegation battle, it’s obvious how important it is.

The Canaries and their new head coach Neil Adams are five points clear of Fulham in the final safe spot in the table. A win would give them some additional breathing room, moving them a step closer to securing a place in the Premier League next season. Adams will have Michael Turner and Leroy Fer back from hamstring injuries, but he may decide to start them on the bench.

Fulham's huge win over Aston Villa last week moved them out of last place, but they remain five points from safety. A second straight win -- something the Cottagers haven't done since October -- would be massive, but Felix Magath must keep his team focused, building on their success last weekend.

The kick-off of the match will be delayed seven minutes in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.

Out: Kostas Mitroglou (knee).
