The Rubin Kazan man wore a Nike Mercurial Vapor colorway that we unfortunately didn’t see much of following its initial release. The white and green Flash Pack Vapor is definitely a classy look that, despite its bright ambitions, stayed mostly hidden among the professional ranks.
Cristiano Ronaldo - Nike Mercurial Vapor IX CR7 & 10M

Cristiano Ronaldo appears twice on this list, first sporting the gold-soled CR7 vapors against Osasuna. Ronaldo went just over an hour in the match, scoring a pair of beautiful goals in the process. Then, on Monday, while training for European action, Ronaldo switched back to the 2010 Superfly-inspired number.

The red & white adiZero boots designed for Lionel Messi proved popular for footballers not named Messi. So popular in fact that more than a year after their release, they're still appearing on the pitch. This time, they popped up in Greece, on the feet of PAOK's Costin Lazar in his team's 4-1 Greek Cup Final loss to Panathinaikos.
Steven Gerrard - adidas Nitrocharge

In what was arguably the biggest match of the weekend, it didn't end well for Steven Gerrard or Liverpool. The midfielder's slip in the first half gifted Chelsea's Demba Ba time and space to slot home past the goalkeeper, allowing both the Blues and Manchester City a way back into the title race.
