Wednesday, the United States men officially debuted their new change kit against in a friendly against Mexico, and Nike have sent the new shirt along to us for an up-close look. The away top is a far cry from the clean, white look that Nike used for the home kit and is sure to stand out on the field in Brazil.

The new top features blue shoulders with a white band that cuts across the chest and around the sleeves but doesn’t continue onto the back (to not interfere with the names and numbers). The shirt comes with the laser-cut ventilation holes and engineered mesh that Nike’s other offerings are equipped with to help keep players cool in Brazil.
Nike partnered the shirt with some creative presentation packaging that is all about their “Risk Everything” campaign. The black box features a very bold skull on the front and an interior panel that says “we will take risks.” Under the shirt is another panel featuring the dates, opponents’ names, and locations of the Yanks’ group stage games in Brazil this summer.
