The United States was absolutely blasting Mexico until their defense fell apart on a corner, allowing Rafael Marquez to get free and score with a completely unopposed header. It's now 2-1 to the USA, and no one's singing 'dos a cero' anymore.

Mexico's pick play is almost certainly illegal and should have been spotted by the referee, but that's awful defending from Omar Gonzalez regardless. And unfortunately, these types of mistakes have become common for the LA Galaxy man.
