West Ham United vs. Liverpool: Preview and TV schedule

West Ham will hope to put a dent in Liverpool’s title charge on Sunday.

Clive Brunskill

Liverpool head into the weekend as Premier League leaders, though with Manchester City still having a couple of games in hand -- with which they could go two points clear at the top -- the advantage is still very much with the Citizens. That means that Brendan Rodgers' side can't afford to drop any points, and will be desperate for a win away at West Ham on Sunday.

After coming under pressure over the festive period, Sam Allardyce has turned the Hammers' fortunes. They're now up in 11th place, and come into this fixture on the back of wins against Hull City and Sunderland. Liverpool shouldn't be expecting an easy match.

The Hammers will be without Marco Borriello, George McCartney and Joey O'Brien through injury, while Liverpool have Sebastián Coates and José Enrique sidelined.
