The only real battle on the final day of the Bundesliga season was for the final Champions League place, and the teams battling for that spot delivered. Wolfsburg put on a great performance to beat Borussia Mönchengladbach to give themselves a chance, but Bayer Leverkusen pulled off a comeback win over Werder Bremen to keep that spot.
Bundesliga scores, Round 34: Hamburg bailed out, Bayer do just enough
Bayer Leverkusen are in Champions League and Hamburg SV still have a chance to save themselves.

Bayern Munich got a victory lap and were able to send off Claudio Pizarro in the best way possible. The striker played his final game for the club on Saturday and scored the winner in stoppage time. Borussia Dortmund and Schalke were also impressive in their matches, scoring four goals apiece, with Schalke's win having an impact on who went down.
At the bottom of the table, nothing changed. What looked like it could have been a wild final day at the bottom of the table instead turned into one devoid of drama, as the bottom three showed exactly why they're the bottom three. All three of them lost, meaning that Nürnburg and Eintracht Braunschweig have been relegated automatically, while Hamburg SV enter the relegation playoff.
