The Predator is back for its 20th anniversary and has received the most upgrades of the four Battle Pack silos. The Predator was redesigned last May, making its mark as the Lethal Zones II (a boot that we really enjoyed testing) despite not getting much of the press as the Nitrocharge was released at the same time.
adidas 20th anniversary Predator Battle Pack: an introduction

Unlike the other boots in the Battle Pack which feature white bases with white patterns, the Predator reverses the trend with a black base. In a question-and-answer session with Gerald Kuhtz, Lead Developer of the Battle Pack, it was revealed that the decision was in line with our release of a new predator boot at every World Cup since 1994" and thus was important to adidas "for the predator to have a point of difference."
The lethal zones are redesigned, combining the Sweet Spot, First Touch, Dribble zones into one relatively large area at the front of the foot while the Drive and Pass zones retain their individual spots on the boot. Additionally, adidas have added a sixth zone to the boot, giving the Predator a brand new outsole with control frame technology to help players maneuver and keep the ball close.
Expect to see a lot of the Predator in Brazil with the likes of Mesut Özil, Oscar, Fernando Torres,Graham Zusi, and many others wearing the boot in World Cup competition.
