Fiorentina assured themselves of fourth place and a spot in the group stage of next season's Europa League with a victory over Livorno last weekend however with European qualification assured, La Viola will still be looking to end the season in style with a final victory in front of their home fans. Fiorentina have closed out the season in shaky fashion, losing the Coppa Italia final 3-1 to Napoli before sensationally going down 4-3 at home to Sassuolo, them in the midst of their great escape. What the encounter will also do is serve Giuseppe Rossi with a chance to get some vital minutes back into his legs ahead of the World Cup, after he made his return with a goal in the loss to Sassuolo. Fans of the Azzurri will be praying he makes it through the final match unscathed so he can play a role in Brazil.
Fiorentina vs. Torino: Preview and TV Schedule
With a point’s advantage on the chasing pack, Torino just need one final victory to put them in European competition next season, although it will be tough against a Fiorentina side looking for a fond finish in front of their home support.

After a stunning season, Torino are just one victory away from an unprecedented place in Europe next season. Indeed, after a run of four consecutive losses through February and March it looked as if they were consigned to another season of mid-table mediocrity however they have only lost once in the nine matches since the 17th of March and are sitting pretty in sixth place, a point clear of Parma who lead the chasing pack. A possible stumbling block for Torino may be that they will be without top scorer Ciro Immobile, suspended after picking up a red card against Parma last weekend, as well as defender Cesare Bovo, who will sit out due to accumulation of yellow cards. It will be interesting to see if any pressure gets to the Granata players, as they have done all the hard work to haul themselves back into contention, it just remains to be seen whether they can finish the job off and gain a place in Europe which would mean everything to their fans.
Fiorentina will have to do without the injured Stefan Savić and the suspended duo Borja Valero and Ryder Matos whilst Torino will be without long-term injury worries Alexander Farnerud and Migjen Basha alongside the suspended pair Bovo and Immobile.
