After the highs that they achieved last season, reaching the Play-Off Final (and missing out on Premier League promotion with a 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace), Watford fans will be disappointed by their 13th place finish in the Championship. Their midtable position does mean another season in England’s second tier and it would be surprising to not see the Hornets fight for promotion once again.
Watford unveil 2014/15 home kit
It will be difficult to physically miss Watford in their new home kits though with the club and Puma officially unveiling their new 2014/15 home kit. It is unsurprisingly yellow with black trim around the collar and cuffs. The goalkeeper has also been handed a new home kit, going green from top to bottom. The kit uses a similar template to the outfield kit with a very clean design.
The overall look of the shirt is very clean with the Watford badge and Puma logo taking up high spots on the chest and the club’s sponsor taking its traditional spot. The back of the shirt is reserved for the players’ names and numbers with a secondary sponsor logo (Football Manager) resting at the back of the neck. The home kit will be paired with one of two different shorts with Puma offering the option of red or black (to complete the three colors of the crest) and yellow socks.
Watford’s new home kit (as well as the goalkeeper kit) is available immediately.
