USA vs. Turkey, 2014 World Cup friendly: Preview, TV schedule and how to watch online

Jurgen Klinsmann is looking for continued improvement from his team as they settle into their new 4-4-2 diamond formation ahead of the World Cup.

The United States continues to ramp up their preparations for the World Cup on Sunday with the second match of their "send-off series" against Turkey. After scoring two late goals against Azerbaijan on Tuesday, the pressure is starting to build for better performances as the level of competition increases.

Clint Dempsey has been given the all-clear by doctors after tweaking his groin warming up ahead of Tuesday’s match. Head coach Jurgen Klinsmann might make some changes to his starting lineup, potentially giving Aron Johannsson and Mix Diskerud, two players who made an impact against Azerbaijan off the bench, a chance to start.

Turkey are coming off a solid 2-0 victory over Honduras on Thursday, and though they will not be traveling to Brazil, they should give Klinsmann's side a tough test.

The only other time the two sides have met was a World Cup warmup in 2010 that saw the US win, 2-1, thanks to goals from Dempsey and Jozy Altidore.

Match Date/Time: 2 p.m. ET

Venue: Red Bull Arena, Harrison, N.J.

TV: ESPN2 (U.S. - English), Univision (U.S. - Spanish), BT Sports 2 (U.K.)

Online: ESPN3 (U.S.)
