There are no real surprises in Mexico's starting lineup, with Miguel Herrera sticking with his central defensive trio and wing-backs. Andrés Guardado slots into central midfield with Miguel Layún taking his place on the left, while Giovani dos Santos and Oribe Peralta are preferred up top over Javier Hernández.

Cameroon lineup 4-3-3, with no surprises anywhere but their back four. Benoît Assou-Ekotto is given the nod over Henri Bedimo at left-back, while Nicolas N’Koulou and Aurélien Chedjou are both preferred over Joël Matip at center back.
