Colombia vs. Greece, World Cup 2014: Time, TV schedule and more

Los Cafeteros are dark horse World Cup contenders again. Can they score without Falcao, and can their aging defense hold up?

SB Nation's 2014 World Cup Bracket'

Update: Colombia beat Greece 3-0

The World Cup's longest day kicks off on Saturday with a serious clash of styles. Greece, known around the world as one of international soccer's most defensive teams, takes on a Colombia side with some of the planet's most exciting attackers.

Of course, the most exciting attacker of them all on Colombia -- Radamel Falcao -- isn’t available. But his teammates Teofilo Gutierrez and Carlos Bacca are exciting replacements, while creative dynamo James Rodriguez will be a lot for the Greeks to handle cutting in from the left flank.

Colombia have been rotating in some fresh faces over the last couple of years, but if you caught Greece's performances at the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012, you know what to expect from them, and you're going to see a lot of very familiar names. You might not be able to spell them, mind, but you'll see them on the backs of shirts and realize that you've definitely heard of all of them before.

This group is probably the best balanced in the entire tournament, with the Ivory Coast and Japan filling the other two slots. If either team loses this game, they might struggle to get out of the group, but it's also pretty clear that no one is going to be virtually eliminated from Group C on Saturday.

Match date/time: Saturday, 12 p.m. ET

Venue: Estadio Magalhaes Pinto, Belo Horizonte, Brazil

TV: ABC (U.S. - English), Univision (U.S. and Canada - Spanish), BBC One (U.K.), CBC (Canada), Caracol TV (Colombia), NERIT1 (Greece)
