Gonzalo Higuaín has dropped to the bench to make way for third center-back Hugo Campagnaro, leaving Marcos Rojo and Pablo Zabaleta free to operate as wing-backs. Maxi Rodríguez has taken Fernando Gago’s spot in the midfield trio.
Bosnia have stuck with the 4-2-3-1 most expected them to use, though deep-lying playmaker Haris Medunjanin is left out to make way for attacking midfielder Zvjezdan Misimović, meaning we'll probably see Miralem Pjanić dictating play from the midfield pivot alongside the more defensively-minded Muhamed Bešić.
