Update: Germany beat Portugal 4-0

Germany and Portugal are the favorites to get out of Group G, but if either loses Monday (12 p.m. ET, ESPN), they could face stiff competition from the United States or Ghana. A loss isn't a disaster for either team, but it'll make their lives very difficult.

Portugal are built around Cristiano Ronaldo, and they're hoping he'll be fully fit for the game. He's been suffering from tendinosis, but he played an hour in Portugal's last warm-up friendly and is expected to be fit enough to start this game.

Germany-Portugal preview

Injuries have ravaged Germany and have them shuffling their lineup ahead of this game. There are reports circulating that Philipp Lahm will be moved into the midfield, while Mesut Özil and Mario Götze will be dropped in favor of more direct, athletic options.

If you live in the USA, you have multiple options for watching the game. If you have access through your cable or internet provider, Watch ESPN is the place to go to watch the game in English. ESPN also has a tactical camera and Portuguese audio. If you don't have Watch ESPN or prefer to watch the game in Spanish, the place to go is Univision En Vivo.

In the U.K., ITV Player is where to watch the game, and you can watch on the CBC Sports streaming service in Canada. You can check out listings for other countries as well at Live Soccer TV.
