Samuel Eto’o set to miss Cameroon’s crucial Croatia clash with knee injury
Cameroon will likely be without their captain Samuel Eto’o for their crucial game against Croatia in Group A on Wednesday.

The doctors confirm! I would probably not be able to play the match vs Croatia on Wed, june18th due to an injury on my knee causing me pain.
— Samuel Eto'o (@setoo9) June 15, 2014 Losing Eto'o would be a massive blow for Cameroon, as despite being 33-years-old, he's still easily their best goalscorer. Fenerbahçe's Pierre Webó is a decent replacement, but isn't of the class of the Indomitable Lions' all-time top goalscorer.
Both Cameroon and Croatia know that another defeat would all but end their hopes of progressing into the knockout stages, after they lost to Mexico and Brazil respectively in the first slate of games.
