United States lineup features formation change ahead of Portugal match

The U.S. Men's National Team will attempt to secure its place in the Round of 16 by defeating Portugal at the Arena Amazônia in Manaus on Sunday. It's going to be hot and humid, which will just add to the overall challenge, so here's how the two teams will begin the match.

With Jozy Altidore unable to play due to an injured hamstring, Jürgen Klinsmann has chosen to change up his formation to a 4-2-3-1, playing Clint Dempsey as the lone striker up top. Graham Zusi enters the lineup in the attacking midfield. Alejandro Bedoya and Fabian Johnson will be on Cristiano Ronaldo's side of the pitch, but they'll need help from Kyle Beckerman, who will be called upon to do considerably more work than he did against Ghana.

Fábio Coentrão, Rui Patrício, and Hugo Almeida are all injured, and Pepe is suspended, which means big changes to the Portugal lineup.
