Thanks to a goal-differential advantage, the Dutch only need a draw to win the group, making their task a bit easier on paper. The Netherlands were particularly impressive at times against Australia, but that hardly mattered since style points don't determine victors. Louis van Gaal will likely want an improved performance overall from his team, though he will be missing two starters.
Robin van Persie is suspended for the match after picking up two yellow cards in the first two matches. While it’s certainly a blow to the Dutch attack, the capable Schalke 04 striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar will likely step into the starting lineup. Defender Bruno Martins Indi is also unavailable after suffering a concussion in the Australia match.
Chile continue to prove they deserve to be considered one of the dark horses in this tournament after a strong performance against Spain. Head coach Jorge Sampaoli will hope his team's aggressive, quick passing style will cause problems for the Dutch defense and allow his side to take first place.
On the injury front for Chile, both Arturo Vidal and Charles Aranguiz could miss the match. Vidal is still working back from knee surgery and Sampaoli might choose to rest his star midfielder to ensure he’s available for the knockout round. Aranguiz has a minor right knee sprain and could be rested as well. Both players are carrying yellow cards, meaning they would miss the Round of 16 if they picked up a card against the Dutch.
