Spain vs. Australia: Start time, TV schedule for 2014 World Cup

Neither nation has a chance of advancing, so there’s nothing but pride on the line. Here’s how to watch on TV and online.

With their World Cup campaigns already over, Australia and Spain meet in Curitiba for a final group stage match with nothing on the line for either nation.

Spain's World Cup has been a disappointment and disaster thanks to two convincing defeats at the hands of the Netherlands and Chile. The defending champions had to fall eventually, but who knew it would be in such spectacular fashion. La Furia Roja's only motivation is to try and earn at least one point, to avoid becoming the first defending champ to fail to earn at least a single one in the next World Cup.

Pepe Reina will make his first-ever start in the World Cup for Spain, and Vicente del Bosque could make more changes to allow some players who’ve not played yet in the tournament to take the pitch. Xavi Hernandez and Iker Casillas will both not play, marking the end of their international careers.

Despite two losses, Australia's World Cup has been far more positive than expected. They played well against both Chile and the Dutch, coming close to upsets in both matches. Unfortunately, Tim Cahill, who was a big part of their ability to score goals, will not be able to play after picking up two yellow cards. As this is likely the Socceroos star's final World Cup, it's a letdown that he can't go out and play one more time.
