Brazil vs. Cameroon, 2014 World Cup group stage: Kickoff time, TV schedule and more
Brazil will look to secure their passage to the knockout stages with a win over Cameroon in Brasilia.
Cameroon have not impressed at the tournament so far, and Brazil, while they have not been scintillating, should have too much for the unfancied Africans and should progress comfortably. A draw would also see them through, with only a Cameroon win and a draw between Mexico and Croatia the scenario which would see the hosts fail to qualify. That would be one of the most stunning moments in the history of the World Cup, and an event of such incredible proportions in Brazil that it almost doesn't bear thinking about. And it almost certainly won't happen.
Match Preview
That in mind, Brazil will probably stick with their Plan A for now and not risk making too many changes. Cameroon are already elimated from the tournament, however. It will probably be a farewell to the greatest stage of all for Samuel Eto’o, and the West Africans will be under no pressure so could have a real go at their opponents. If Brazil look in any trouble at all, it’ll be very tense, and should be decent viewing.
