With all of the focus on the 2014 World Cup, you may have forgotten that the new club season is just around the corner. With kickoff just a month-and-a-half away, the clubs are starting to ramp things up in terms of signings and gear. One of these clubs is Swansea City who, as with two years ago, are now the only Welsh side in the Barclays Premier League once again.
Swansea City unveil 2014/15 adidas home and away kits
The Swans have unveiled their new home and away kits for the upcoming season. The home, in completely unsurprising fashion is all white save for the club crest, adidas logo, three stripes, and sponsor logo (which breaks the black mold by appearing in gold). The real surprise with this set is the new away kit which is a huge sidestep away from the (what seemed to be) Minnesota Vikings inspired away shirt that they wore last season.
The new away kit comes in a half black, half red design wit the split coming right down the middle of the shirt. The adidas and Swansea logos take the color of the opposite side of the shirt. Both sides feature grey sleeves with red adidas stripes, inserts, and piping while the collar is also red. The kit is completed by red shorts and red socks that carry thin black hoops around them.
The new kits are on sale immediately.
