Argentina vs. Nigeria, World Cup 2014: Start time, TV schedule
A tie would put both teams through, but Nigeria can still finish atop the group with a win. Find out how to watch on TV and online.
Argentina may be undefeated and poised to finish atop Group F. But that may be a bit deceiving. If not for a pair of late, spectacular goals from Lionel Messi, Argentina's situation could be very different. And while Nigeria hasn't been anymore impressive, this could still prove to a pivotal match.
A tie would put both teams through to the quarterfinals and neither side would complain about that. But if Nigeria can find a way to win, they'd finish atop the group and be able to avoid arguably the tournament's hottest team in France.
Messi and his mates will have their work cut out for them, too. Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has yet to concede a goal in two games, leaving Nigeria as the only team with a clean goals-against record.
Argentina v. Nigeria
Somewhat of note, Porto Alegre is the closest host city to Argentina, which will likely mean a decided home-field advantage.
