Both Honduras and Switzerland have made changes ahead of their crucial meeting in Manaus today. Both teams head into the game knowing a win could see them into the knockout stages.

Honduras coach Luis Fernando Suárez has replaced left-back Emilio Izaguirre with Juan Carlos García, while Luis Garrido has made way for the returning Wilson Palacios in the centre of midfield.

Switzerland v. Honduras

For Switzerland, centre-back Steve von Bergen is out with a facial injury, and talented young defender Fabian Schär has been preferred over ageing liability Philippe Senderos. Admir Mehmedi keeps his position over Valentin Stocker on the left of midfield, while Josip Drmić returns to start ahead of Haris Seferović up top.

Honduras starting lineup (4-4-2): Noel Valladares; Juan Carlos García, Maynor Figueroa, Víctor Bernárdez, Brayan Beckeles; Roger Espinoza, Wilson Palacios, Jorge Claros, Óscar Boniek García; Carlo Costly, Jerry Bengtson.

Switzerland starting lineups (4-2-3-1): Diego Benaglio; Ricardo Rodríguez, Fabian Schär, Johan Djourou, Stephan Lichtsteiner; Valon Behrami, Gökhan Inler; Admir Mehmedi, Granit Xhaka, Xherdan Shaqiri; Josip Drmić.
