USA vs. Germany, World Cup 2014: How to watch online
As tempting as it may be for the two linked sides to play to a time, that’s a bit simple for this World Cup. Here’s how to watch online.

It would be so simple for the United States and Germany to play to a tie in Recife on Thursday. The result would put both sides through to the knockout rounds and leave both sides feeling reasonably good about their displays in the group stage.
But nothing about this World Cup has really been simple and even though the two teams may share some common bonds, there's plenty of reason to want to play to win.
Both teams come in tied on four points and with the ability to finish anywhere from first to third in the group, although it would take a rather epic collapse to keep Germany from moving along. A tie would put both sides through, while a multi-goal German victory would leave the United States in serious trouble.
The group winner gets a very winnable match against one of Russia, Algeria or South Korea while finishing second will mean a match against Belgium and Argentina likely awaiting them in the quarterfinals.
If you're watching in the USA, you have a couple options for watching he match online.
