Luis Suárez’s latest victim forgives him for bite
Giorgio Chiellini has forgiven Luis Suárez for biting his shoulder in Italy’s defeat to Uruguay.

With the game deadlocked at 0-0 and Uruguay applying pressure on the Italy defence, striker Suárez was once again overcome by a peculiar urge to nibble on the shoulder of his marker, and was promptly kicked out of the World Cup and banned from football for four months.
However, he’s since offered up something kind of resembling an apology, which was good enough for the bitten Chiellini:
.@luis16suarez It's all forgotten. I hope FIFA will reduce your suspension.
— Giorgio Chiellini (@chiellini) June 30, 2014 Chiellini can call for a reduction in his suspension, safe in the knowledge that it’ll probably be a long time before he has to go up against Suárez again. Other defenders may be less keen to see Suárez back on the field anytime soon. After Otman Bakkal, Branislav Ivanović and Chiellini, who knows who’ll be next to be nibbled?
