El Salvador vs. Spain, 2014 World Cup friendlies: Preview, TV schedule and how to watch online

Diego Costa could get a run-out for Spain in their final tune-up friendly.

SB Nation's 2014 World Cup Preview'

Spain concludes their World Cup preparation on Saturday, and they'll do so without testing themselves against a team in the competition itself, or anyone particularly close to qualifying. They took on Bolivia in their first friendly and they close out their schedule with a match against El Salvador in the United States.

While Spain can usually expect to get pretty friendly crowds wherever they go, they’re probably stepping into a true away game on Saturday. The game is being played in Maryland, which has a massive Salvadoran population, so expect to see a lot more blue and white in the stands than you see red and yellow.

The big news before the friendly was that Atlético Madrid forward Diego Costa, who has been battling an injury, expects to play in this game. Most believe he'll be Spain's starting center forward in the World Cup if he's fit, so Vicente Del Bosque will be thrilled to get him a run-out on Saturday.

Otherwise, Spain’s team isn’t obvious for this game. Don’t be surprised if Del Bosque gives a chance to a number of possible key subs ahead of his first choice players for this match. His first team already knows each other well.

Match date/time: Saturday, 4 p.m. ET

Venue: FedEx Field, Landover, Maryland

TV: Univision (U.S. - Spanish), Cuatro (Spain)
