Nike’s animated short reminds us all that soccer is meant to be beautiful, not perfect

The clone wars, non-Star Wars edition.

The Nike World Cup campaign started with "Next Goal Wins" and transformed into "Risk Everything." Whether it be a bunch of kids running around pretending to be superstars or remembering that football is better as a game than a job, the message has been about the core of the game -- it's joy and beauty.

In their latest ad, they’ve gone with an animated short about the attack of the clones and their perfect football. But football isn’t meant to be perfect. It’s meant to be beautiful.

More than anything, this is a really entertaining way to spend five minutes, even if there is not enough Zlatan (there is never enough Zlatan).
