Barcelona and Liverpool agree Luis Suárez deal
Luis Suárez is set to join Barcelona after the Catalan club reached an agreement with Liverpool for his sale.

Barcelona are on the brink of completing the signing of Luis Suárez from Liverpool for a reported fee of £70 million.
The Uruguayan striker isn't yet officially a Barça player, as he's yet to complete a medical and sign his five-year contract. However, with both Liverpool and the Catalan club having released statements -- and the latter having tweeted a photograph of him proudly posing with his new shirt -- it's safe to consider this a done deal.

— FC Barcelona (@FCBarcelona) July 11, 2014 On paper, Suárez is an excellent signing for Barça. He is, after all, one of the best strikers on the planet. However, not only is the Uruguayan a notorious troublemaker -- he’s currently serving a four-month ban for biting Giorgio Chiellini in the World Cup -- but he’s also not exactly the answer to all their problems.
In Lionel Messi and Neymar they’ve already got two of the world’s best attackers, and it would’ve probably been wiser for them to spend such a fortune on reinforcing their wafer-thin midfield. Still, with such firepower up top, Luis Enrique’s side should certainly be exciting to watch next season.
