Brazil vs Netherlands, World Cup 2014: How to watch online

Saturday’s third place game is not the place the Dutch or Brazilians wanted to be, but it is a chance to finish on a positive note. Here’s how to watch the match online.

SB Nation's 2014 World Cup Final Preview

Instead of the final, as both teams had hoped, Brazil meets the Netherlands in the World Cup third place game on Saturday (4 p.m. ET, ESPN). The host nation will be hoping to end the tournament on a positive note and erase at least some of the bad memories from their semifinal loss, while the Dutch will look to close out the World Cup without a regulation time loss.

Thiago Silva is available again after serving a suspension in the semifinal, but Neymar remains sidelined with his back injury. The Dutch are injury free, but Nigel de Jong could be saved to avoid causing more damage to his groin ahead of the club season.

The last time these two teams met in a World Cup match was in 2010, when the Dutch came out on top, 2-1.

In the USA, your best bet for watching online is WatchESPN, assuming your Internet or TV provider allows you access to the service. They’ll offer both an English and Portuguese feed, along with a tactical cam. If WatchESPN isn’t an option, or you would prefer a Spanish language feed, try Univision En Vivo.

CBC Sports streaming will be streaming the match in Canada. In the UK, use the ITV Player. There are listings available for other countries as well at Live Soccer TV.
