The 2014 World Cup comes to a close on Sunday when Germany meets Argentina at the Estadio Maracanã (3 p.m. ET, ABC). These two teams have combined to win six World Cup titles, and make 12 appearances in the final. It's also the third time these two nations have played in the final against one another, with each side winning once.
Germany have more rest, having played their semifinal one day earlier than Argentina. Plus they have the added advantage of having only played 90 minutes, while Argentina went 120 minutes, plus penalties, against the Netherlands. La Albiceleste also have more injury concerns with Angel di María not expected to be fit, and fullback Marcos Rojo struggling a bit with a sore ankle.
