AC Milan unveil 2014/15 away kit with brand new crest

After unveiling their home and third kits earlier this summer, AC Milan have finally revealed their away kit for the upcoming season. Like the red and black-striped home kit, the new away shirt does not feature the club’s traditional badge, instead opting for something completely different.

The new crest on the front of the shirt is a circular emblem that feature 3D red stripes that seem to spiral around a spherical core with the club's traditional black color there to add depth. The logo celebrates AC Milan's new club headquarters, Casa Milan.

The shirt itself is all white, as many Rossoneri away kits have been in the past. The body of the shirt features a series of thin, gold, horizontal pinstripes that span the player’s torso. The shirt features a crew neck collar that is mostly red but with black piping around the outermost edge to bring the club’s colors together. The adidas stripes on the sleeves are red. At the bottom of the shirt is a thick band of red and black which adds a very nice contrast element to the kit.

The back of the shirt is home to a strip of green, white, and red that runs across the shoulders, tying the kit back to Italy.

The shorts that the club will wear with the new shirt are solid white except for the adidas stripes that run up the legs. The socks that complete the look are white with a thin black and red band near the top.

The new kit will make its on-field debut on Thursday, July 24 when Milan take on Olympiacos of Greece at Toronto FC’s BMO Field.
