DaMarcus Beasley will almost certainly be joining the Houston Dynamo after they acquired the top spot in the Allocation Order in a trade with Toronto FC. To acquire that spot, the Dynamo sent defensive specialist Warren Creavalle to TFC, which also sent Allocation Money to Houston.
Houston Dynamo move into position to acquire DaMarcus Beasley
Dynamo swap Allocation Order spots with Toronto FC, give up Warren Creavalle as part of deal.

There has not yet been a formal announcement as to who the Dynamo will pick with that spot, but rumors have been rampant since late Tuesday that their target is Beasley.
Regardless of who the Dynamo are selecting, they clearly have someone in mind as Creavalle is a significant piece to send away. Creavalle has made 72 appearances across all competitions for the Dynamo since being drafted in the second round of the 2012 SuperDraft. He had started eight of the Dynamo’s last nine games, mostly as a defensive midfielder but also at left back.
“Warren is a player that we have been watching closely for some time now and we feel his versatility will be a welcomed addition to our club,” Toronto FC General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko said ina release. “Houston expressed interest in switching allocation positions so combined with our interest in Warren this move was a win-win for both clubs.”
