The Ecuadoran winger has agreed to a four-year deal with the Swans.

Gary Monk’s latest signing gives the Swans head coach a talented and versatile wing player, capable of operating on the left or right.
Montero spent two years with La Liga side Villarreal, but was never able to break through with the club. He moved to Morelia in 2012, and went on to make 63 appearances for the Monarquía, scoring 10 goals. He completed a medical on Thursday, and trained with his new teammates before finalizing the move to Swansea on Friday.
The 24-year-old started all three of Ecuador's matches at this summer's World Cup, and has earned 43 caps since 2007.
He becoes the fifth new signing of the summer for Swansea, joining Gylfi Sigurdsson, Bafetimbi Gomis, Stephen Kingsley, and Marvin Emnes.
