Carmelo Anthony isn’t terrible at soccer, and really likes Cristiano Ronaldo

Things we learned: Carmelo Anthony can kind of juggle and his favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo.

David Manning-USA TODAY Sports

Now that Carmelo Anthony has spurned the Lakers and Bulls to stay with the Knicks, he can hang out in Los Angeles for the rest of the summer and do super fun, cool, famous athelte things. Things like hang out with Real Madrid.

Carmelo should have said his favorite player was Lionel Messi on Real Madrid TV. He also shouldn’t have worn basketball shorts and a basketball tank.

Then again, he just signed a $120 million contract and isn’t so completely terrible at soccer so he can pretty much do whatever the hell he wants, including making everyone on the defending European champions look tiny.
