The Spaniard has joined Napoli on a season-long loan.

The attacker made a splash in the Premier League after joining Swansea from Rayo Vallecano for for a cut-price £2.2 million in 2012, scoring 18 goals in his first league season. However, he struggled in his second season at the Liberty Stadium, netting just twice in an injury-plagued campaign.

— Official SSC Napoli (@sscnapoli) July 25, 2014 Though Michu struggled last season, he should nevertheless be a useful signing for Napoli. The Spaniard is most comfortable playing as an attacking midfielder, but he’s pretty adept up top too, offering useful depth behind their main central striker Gonzalo Higuaín. Plus, if he doesn’t impress, they can send him packing back to Wales at the end of the season.
