Bayern Munich reveal beautiful 2014/15 away kit

Following up on the vertically-striped home kit that adidas unveiled for Bayern Munich prior to the conclusion of the previous Bundesliga season, the German giants have revealed their new away kit. The change uniform takes the home shirt and more or less flips it sideways with a set of horizontal stripes that tie the club together both at home in the Allianz Arena and away.

The new kit is mostly white with an engineered fabric for the front of the shirt and a trio of stripes that are printed with a heather texture for added style. The top third of the shirt features a thick red stripe that houses the adidas logo, Bayern Munich crest, and Club World Cup winners badge. Halfway down the shirt is a blue stripe with the Deutsche Telekom logo placed directly between the top two stripes. The bottom of the shirt is home to the third and thickest stripe which is a very nice-looking heather grey color that runs all the way down to the hem.

The adidas stripes on the shoulder, the collar, and shirt cuffs all carry the color of the top stripe and come in a dark red. The back of the shirt features Bayern’s motto of “Mia san Mia” which translates to “We are who we are” in English. The club’s name is also printed on the back of the shirt. Running across the shoulders is a blue stripe that matches the middle section of the front of the shirt.

The kit is completed by white shorts that feature dark red stripes running up the legs. The socks are also mostly white with a single red hoop around them and a totally blue foot area.

The kit makes its on-field debut this weekend in the Telekom Cup.
