Maybe Wayne Rooney is feeling revitalized under Louis van Gaal. Maybe he's going to have a great season. Maybe he can be the central piece of a Manchester United team that gets back into the Champions League.
Or maybe he’s just scoring cool goals because he tends to do that even when he’s playing poorly and doing it in the preseason is way easier than doing it in the Premier League.
