Fernando Arce scores blinding 35-yard free kick

“Just kick it really hard.” “Okay!”

Chivas have a problem: Their matches aren’t 90 minutes of Fernando Arce taking free kicks. But on Sunday, they got one free kick for him and that was enough, even if it was from 35 yards.

Of course, this goal followed 86 minutes of both teams doing everything possible to miss the goal or shoot straight at the goalkeeper on their approximate, 4,939,292 chances, but hey, an entire match of awful finishing is totally acceptable if it ends with a goal this awesome. You passes with flying colors Chivas (and Pumas, on the Goats’ coat tails).
