In detail: Puma evoSPEED 1.3

Following up on the very good evoPOWER 1 boot that performed so well in both synthetic and leather versions, Puma have announced the latest generation of its speed boot, the evoSPEED 1.3. The latest version of the boot features a new upper and new support system, among other improvements from the 1.2 but also picks up right where the last version left off.

The new version has just arrived for a closer look in the Prism Violet / Flourescent Yellow colorway and there are some photos above that show the boot in detail. Fans will notice the exoskeleton both in the heel and midfoot and the thin upper that surrounds the shoe. On the instep of each foot is a giant Puma wordmark that is made up of smaller versions of that same logo. The boot’s colorway is unmissable but also easy on the eye. In early tests, the boot was comfortable and a joy to play with but stay tuned for the full review.
