Blue has been a favorite color of Manchester United's for well over the last 100 years, appearing early and often on the club's away and third kits. After a brief hiatus following last year's dark, gingham kit and the white away kit the year before (using the previous season's striped blue away kit as a third), the color is back. Nike's final Manchester United kit is a brilliant blue but is marred by an awful sponsor logo.
Manchester United and Inter Milan debut new change kits against each other

Like both the home and away kits this season, Manchester United’s third kit comes a polo collar and a solid body. The new shirt is almost entirely blue with a set of red stripes that run the sides of the body and down the sleeves. The stripes separate the front and back of the shirt. The front is a deep blue while the back is a darker tone of the same color. That back color matches the shade found on the polo collar and deep, buttoned neckline.
The shorts match the shirt, using the same tones on the front and back with the stripes that pick up right where they left off on the shirt. Those socks continue down the length of the blue socks.

Manchester United's new third kit made its debut against Inter Milan at the Washington NFL team's FedEx Field. Inter also had a new kit to debut. I Nerazzurri's new uniform is all white with a shirt that features a design that is composed of light gray tonal strips that form the shape of St. George's cross across the front of the shirt. The sponsor logos are all red.
Inter’s new kit is completed by all-white shorts and all-white socks.
