Real Madrid playing American football goes as well as expected

No one on Real Madrid grew up playing American football. It shows.

Xabi Alonso is the perfect quarterback. He knows the playbook, sees the field and is the consummate leader. He can't throw the ball well, but neither can Tim Tebow.

Alonso has a decent excuse for not throwing well -- he never played American football growing up. It shows, but at least he has the intangibles down and depending on which confused NFL analyst you ask, intangibles matter most at the quarterback position in the National Football League.

Sergio Ramos is a throwback and doesn't believe in passing the football. Rumor has is that he has offers from 11 Big 10 schools and is very excited about the prospect of a sport without red cards.
