Arsenal vs. Manchester City, 2014 Community Shield: Lineups

Neither side is at full strength in today’s meeting between the defending EPL champion and the FA cup holder.

English football's annual curtain-raiser is set to kick-off at Wembley Stadium as Arsenal and Manchester City meet with the Community Shield on the line. Here are the lineups that the two sides will send out.

The Gunners are missing several regular starters, but new signings Alexis Sanchez, Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers are in the starting lineup.The German trio of Mesut Ozil, Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski are not available, nor is striker Olivier Giroud.

City is also debuting a couple new signings as goalkeeper Wily Caballero and midfielder Fernando both get starts in the match. Sergio Aguero, Pablo Zabaleta, Martin Demichelis, Fernandinho and Vincent Kompany are not in the lineup.

Arsenal starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Wojciech Szczęsny; Kieran Gibbs, Laurent Koscielny, Calum Chambers, Mathieu Debuchy; Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshire; Santi Carzola, Aaron Ramsey, Alexis Sanchez; Yaya Sanogo.

Manchester City starting lineup (4-4-2): Wily Caballero; Aleksandar Kolarov, Dedryck Boyata, Matija Nastasić, Gael Clichy; Jesus Navas, Fernando, Yaya Touré, Samir Nasri; Edin Džeko, Stevan Jovetić.
