Newcastle has blacklisted Hatem Ben Arfa. Alan Pardew doesn't think his attitude if befitting of a Magpie so he was barred from preseason, stripped of his squad numbers and will not be allowed to attend the club's autograph session.
Hatem Ben Arfa, banned from Newcastle fan session, sets up his own meet and greet
Haten Ben Arfa is going to meet fans, whether Newcastle likes it or not.

So Ben Arfa is holding his own meet and greet.
Newcastle won't let him meet the fans at their own event, so he's going to meet them on his own. The player set up an event at a local shop for Tuesday when fans can say hello, speak to him and get to know the exiled player. And the shop just so happens to be around the corner from St. James' Park, with the event set for the same day as Newcastle's autograph session.
This will undoubtedly endear Ben Arfa to Newcastle further, not that it really matters at this point. Ben Arfa only has one year left on his contract and Newcastle are determined to sell him, or at least loan him out for the season. The Frenchman’s time at St. James’ Park is over so why not have a bit of fun and win over some fans in the process?
