Edgar Solis’ 35-yard laser will knock your socks off

“I am going to hit it as hard as I can right into the top corner.”

Copa MX is largely overlooked. They play the matches midweek, often in front of sparse crowds, and it doesn’t garner half of the media attention that Liga MX does.

And then Edgar Solis hits an absolute rocket from 35 yards and all of a sudden, Copa MX is the best.

Well, it’s not. It’s still the ugly stepchild of Mexican football, but at least it makes for great YouTube fodder.

Thanks, Solis. Tuesday in Mexican football was a success, and it was all because of you.
