Mainz were down 5-4 in the 120th minute. The match aas about to be over so Johannes Geis figured, "why not, I'll shoot from halfway." And it went in.

OH. MY. GOD.

What a goal. What a moment. What bedlam.

And then Mainz lost on penalty kicks so it didn’t mean a thing. Someone give Geis a hug.
